Krissy Ferris
Project Manager
Krissy Ferris helps teams do more in less time by distilling complexity into actionable plans. An ability to work hard and get things done, while building lasting relationships and having fun, focuses her as a developer and a leader.
In addition to serving as a project manager with Normal>Next, Ferris works with businesses to optimize their operations for the future and implement software solutions to make planned systems real.
She began her professional career in the Netherlands at The Royal Tropical Institute, leading Share-Net, the network coordinating the efforts of Dutch international HIV prevention and sexual health organizations and their Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Working at the intersection of sex and government heightened her fascination with the places humans and systems come together (and sometimes clash).
Back in the U.S., Ferris shifted from public health to develop a new concept for private healthcare. Working with Dr. Tom Morledge, she helped build Revati Wellness, Cleveland’s premier concierge medical practice, from the ground up. Together they created a practice that operates on a different financial model and looks at health through a truly holistic lens.
Ferris earned her undergraduate degree at Oberlin College, then was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to the Netherlands where she completed her Master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Amsterdam.
She is as comfortable solving problems at a keyboard or collaborating over Zoom as she is around the house unraveling the unknown with pliers and a hammer. When she steps away from the tools of her craft, she enjoys spending good-weather days outside in nature and the rainy, chilly ones curled up with a book and a cup of tea.
