Noah Simon

Associate - Cohort 003

Noah Simon brings people together to develop products and policies that impact the public. He inspires group collaboration and excels at leading tight teams, working independently, and grasping holistic vision. He draws out people’s individual specializations so they can create a memorable outcome together.

Simon is a graduate of Pratt Institute in Brooklyn with a BFA in communications design, a minor in psychology, and a focus on advertising and art direction. He aspires to be a production director, ensuring visual design is educated by information architecture and a design thinking approach. At Pratt he widened his creative lens as much as he could, from the culture of food to metalcraft, to exploring the concept and practices that underpin play. His quest to work with his hands and learn through experience began at the Seattle Waldorf School where he also began glassblowing.

He has served as art director for a stop-motion film, designed a book teaching cocktail making for a classmate, and strives to approach each project with fresh eyes and new ideas.

Simon is a member of the fourth cohort of Normal Next associates, directly involved in the development of an online community for health equity leaders, a new form of civic engagement, and a music museum.

He enjoys swimming and playing spike ball in the summer, skiing and snowboarding in the winter, cooking, baking, and taking photographs year-round.
